QTS Suwanee is expanding into a data center campus, with the newest facility boasting 30MW of critical power capacity.
Almost 20 years ago, QTS acquired its first data center in the suburb of Suwanee, GA. Since then, QTS Suwanee is home to the Operations Support Center, operating 24/7/365. From this flagship data center, QTS has grown from one data center to multiple campuses in the Atlanta area.
Most recently, QTS acquired its second data center to expand to a Suwanee campus. This 376,900 square foot facility will offer 30 MWs of critical power capacity and features six diverse power feeds to the Suwanee site with eight into the building.
This month, QTS Suwanee DC2 office space has started undergoing renovations to bring the building up to QTS standards. Over the next few months, the interior office space will be demolished in preparation for the build out of new office space, training rooms, lobby, security and other QTS amenities.
