What does a day in your position look like?
My days are busy and often require juggling many balls in the air simultaneously, which makes each one unique and fulfilling. As a Senior Corporate Recruiter, I have the privilege of working with both external candidates interested in pursuing careers with QTS as well as internal candidates interested in growing their careers here at QTS. I love meeting so many new people, sharing the QTS story, learning about our different teams, and partnering with candidates to find the perfect home for their skillsets.
What is your favorite part of working for QTS?
The people and the growth! I am so proud to be representing a team and company that continues to earn the highest level of respect in the marketplace. I hear that positive feedback from the market consistently and it motivates me to want to continue to deliver the highest quality service level for my teams. As QTS continues to grow to meet our customers’ needs, I love being a part of that growth- from scaling our teams to scaling our tools and processes, it is all very rewarding for me.
Who inspires you most in your chosen field/career?
My teammates! I love to surround myself with peers who have a passion for their work and who lead by example. I am thankful to have the opportunity to work with so many thought leaders who help me think outside the box, lean into to new ideas and consistently raise the bar.
What passions do you have inside and outside of the office?
I stay very busy with our 3 little girls. Depending on the season, you can typically find me either on the pool deck at swim meets, near the dugout at softball games, on the sidelines at the soccer field, in the audience at dance recitals, on the swings at the playground, or volunteering as a Board Member for our school’s Foundation. I have a goal to pick back up my tennis racket this year, so hoping to add that to the list! If there is any time left in the day, I also love an Orangetheory class. Our schedule is busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
What does a perfect day outside of the office look like for you?
A perfect day for me is any day at the beach! Hilton Head Island is my home away from home, but I am a happy camper in any coastal destination!
