What does a day in your position look like?
A day in my position can vary wildly, but my overall focus is on ensuring that the first building in Phoenix is ready for our customer. My focus can shift has been on ensuring the building is adequately staffed, onboarding new vendors to support building maintenance, or interacting with the construction agent on questions or concerns and everything in between!
What is your favorite part of working for QTS?
My favorite part of working with QTS is definitely the people. So many fantastic people come together to make sure that we get it done. We can’t do it all by ourselves, we need each other and realize that. That’s what makes us such a great team!
What passions do you have inside and outside of the office?
Inside the office I have a passion for trying to make the job as easy as possible for myself and those around me. I constantly ask myself the question ‘How can we improve this to make it better or easier to use?’. In the end, I want those that work with me to have fun while getting the work done!
Outside of the office I love spending time with my wife and kids. I especially enjoy taking them on any outdoor adventure I can find. Living in the Valley of the Sun, offers tremendous hiking experiences, which is the latest kick my family and I have been on.
What is your favorite part of the holiday season in and outside the office?
My favorite part of the holiday season inside and outside of the office is watching how people come together. Whether that is in how many QTSers come together in participating in volunteer events to support those in need, or just spending more time with friends and family to celebrate the holidays.
What holiday traditions does your family have?
Through the years my family has spread out across the country. The tradition that we have so far upheld, is to all come back to Arizona to spend time with each other and really just catch up on all we have experienced through the previous year.
What does a perfect day outside of the office look like for you?
A perfect day outside the office is getting outdoors with my family. I love playing basketball with my kids or going on a hike. The weather is beautiful in Arizona right now and really the perfect opportunity to go and see the great outdoors.
