Employee Spotlight: David Fagan, Critical Operations Supervisor

What is your favorite part of working for QTS?

Some days, I’m like a kid in a candy store. I like gadgetry and PNJ1 is the ultimate gadget. I’m fascinated with all the systems which support our customers and their equipment.

Who inspires you most in your chosen field/career

For me it’s whoever strives for, and accomplishes their goals, and as a result is a success, there are multiple people who I work with, and have worked with (until they moved up the ladder) that fit that description!

What passions do you have inside and outside of the office?

Having a logical mind, inside of the office it’s automation; whether it be a VBA program which ends up making life easier or manipulating the BMS to make it do my bidding, or using it to unlock the mysteries it holds. Outside the office, it’s music; listening to, and playing my guitar, and piano.

What does a perfect day outside of the office look like for you?

Taking a road trip to Atlantic City, breaking out the bicycles and riding the boardwalk from beginning to end (approximately 5 miles). Then riding back and having breakfast in our room overlooking the city.
