Employee Spotlight: Chai Lor, Critical Operations Technician I

What does a day in your position look like?

As part of my role, I assign works, supervise completion of my team’s tasks and project, handle RHE tickets, ensure customer satisfaction, maintain the facility, provide support to other departments, and update new shipments in SNOW.

 

What is your favorite part of working for QTS?

At QTS, I value the positive company culture, opportunities for professional growth, and most importantly, the enjoyable working relationship with my colleagues and customers. The fast-paced environment is a rewarding challenge, and I take great pride in being a part of this organization.

 

What does ‘Servant Leadership’ mean to you?

Servant leadership means getting your hands dirty, inspiring, motivating, and supporting a team towards a greater purpose than yourself, and giving the team the proper training to help enable them to perform at their best. A great example of this is demonstrated in our SAC1 NPS scores which show 100% customer satisfaction.

 

What passions do you have inside and outside the office?

Collaborating with team to solve complex problems and satisfying clients is the most rewarding part of my job. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and taking photos of beautiful landscapes.

 

What does a perfect day outside of the office look like for you?

To me, the perfect summer means glamping by the ocean with my wife and corgi. We enjoy traveling to remote and beautiful locations.
