What is Topping Out?
Topping out is a ceremony that marks the completion of the structural phase of a building project. It usually involves placing the final beam, stone, or brick at the highest point of the structure, often with a flag or other symbolic item attached to it. A topping out ceremony is a way of celebrating the achievement of the workers, architects, engineers, and owners of the project.
QTS Topping Outs 2024
QTS has hosted four topping out events so far this year, including the QTS Manassas second data center, QTS Richmond Campus’ fourth data center, QTS Atlanta 2 Campus’ second data center, and QTS Phoenix 2 Campus’ third data center. Every event was successful and included visits from local officials and QTS executives. Thank you to our construction partners who helped bring these builds to life. We look forward to continuing to serve the communities we are growing in!
