Better Together
Our Better Together campaign supports education efforts as well as mental health of individuals and families across communities where we build, operate and live.
The Better Together campaign is a community-driven initiative focused on improving mental health awareness and providing educational resources to support the communities where we build, operate and live. This program brings together local organizations, mental health advocates and residents to create lasting impact through education, outreach and shared experiences.
We aim to reduce stigma, increase access to mental health resources and foster a sense of belonging for individuals and families. In addition, we’re committed to providing education and programs that prepare people to thrive and succeed. By helping support organizations that bring light to mental health and educational opportunities, QTS is working to create safe spaces and support systems that empower people to seek help and support one another.
Education continues to be one of the most effective ways to empower individuals and transform communities. We understand that investing in learning opportunities creates lasting ripple effects that benefit everyone.
Support local initiatives and volunteer commitments in each community.
Foster inclusive access to employment, education and community benefits.
Stimulate the local economy by supporting local businesses and offering skills training to the workforce.
Build the capability and capacity of local and regional businesses while offering support to the area.
In August 2025, the Better Together campaign kicked off with a historical Derby Day featuring two local football clubs – the Blyth Spartans AFC and Ashington AFC. For the first time in more than 40 years, these two historic clubs renewed their rivalry at Blyth’s Croft Park. To mark the occasion and officially kickoff the campaign, QTS and Anxious Minds hosted a Community Day gathering featuring live music, food, local vendors and family-friendly activities.
Anxious Minds is dedicated to supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, suicidal crises and experiences of abuse. The charity’s mission is to provide life-saving and life-changing support, creating sanctuaries of hope and healing for those in crisis across the North East region.
Whether you’re looking to volunteer, donate or simply learn more, your support makes a difference. Together, we can build a more resilient and connected community in Cambois and throughout the area.
