QTS Location: Atlanta Metro

Years with QTS: 1 year

What does a day in your position look like?

A day as a Facilities Operations Analyst typically involve gathering data, organizing information, analyzing historical results, making forecasts and projections, making recommendations, and generating Excel models, presentations, and reports.

What is your favorite part of working for QTS?

There are many things that I enjoy about working at QTS, but my favorite part about working here is the friendly atmosphere. We all treat each other kindly and with respect and the culture feels more like a family instead of my co-workers. Everyone works together really well and it makes coming to work more enjoyable and rewarding.

As a veteran, how do you recognize Veteran’s Day?

My family and I attend the local Veterans Day parade in Atlanta, GA every year.

What does a perfect day outside the office look like for you?

A perfect day outside of the office would involve receiving a massage at a spa, practicing yoga or working in my small garden at home.

How has your career with QTS shifted since you joined?

The past year and a half I have had the pleasure to work under the tutelage of Cody Schnakenburg as the SE Regional Facilities Coordinator/Financial Analyst. During this time, I have proudly partnered with the entire SE leadership team. They have been truly AH-MAZING to work with and for. However, I was recently promoted to the new Community Impact Manager and I will be serving QTS in a very different capacity alongside two awe-inspiring individuals, Dave Murray and Kimberly Hines.

What are you looking forward to most about your new opportunity/role?

I was raised believing in the importance of serving in the community as I saw my family, church members and neighbors selflessly help and give back in communities in need. It is therefore no surprise that I discovered my passion for service and volunteerism. Since I have had the pleasure of being employed with QTS I have been able to not only serve the SE Facility Region on the operational side of the business but also participate and operate in my gift and my passion of service missioned work through local community service projects. I feel tremendously blessed to now serve on a much larger scale hoping to add value and impact to the entire QTS portfolio. I’m not only ready to apply life skills, positivity, solutions-focused approach, strategic thinking, and love for people to this new role, but I’m also ready to learn and develop which will further benefit this company at a higher level. One of the core values of QTS is family, faith and community volunteerism. I believe that selflessly serving others to make a meaningful contribution to a better community should be one of our top priorities in life. Doing so allows you to connect to your community making the world a better place for all to enjoy. I am looking forward to gaining new skills, making new friends, and giving back through serving others.
