We’ve already mentioned our Topping Out ceremony last month on our existing Piscataway data center. This month, the expansion of the facility has reached construction milestones at a rapid rate resulting in exterior site work nearing 100% completion. Due to this high level of efficiency, work has shifted to focusing on interior progress. Drywall and interior framing, including the critical infrastructure of the data hall, is well underway.
This construction project will add an additional 15MW of critical power over 50,000 sq. ft. of raised floor to our current 52MW facility. This expansion is due to an increased demand from our current customer base and prospects in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania areas and those from across the country.
QTS Piscataway continues to be highly sought after and we will continue to invest in this facility and look to expand in this region for years to come!
