I had the honor of serving in the active duty Army as an Infantry officer with the 101st Airborne Division for five years. After that, I continued my service as an Army reservist Information Operations officer in Northern VA for two more years. My military service took me to some interesting (and not always desirable) places, providing unique experiences and training that have shaped who I am today.
With 17 years of experience in government and technology sales, I was introduced to Dave McOmber, EVP of Federal Sales, through a mutual friend. Initially, I never envisioned myself working for a data center company, but the convergence of technology, real estate, and government mission piqued my interest. I recognized the growing importance of government IT consumption and saw how QTS was at the forefront of supporting this effort. After meeting several team members, I knew I wanted to be part of this journey.

What is your favorite part of your role at QTS?
Much of sales is all about understanding your product and aligning it with your customer’s needs. What excites me most about this role is that many of my customers are new to this type of need. I get the opportunity to educate them on how to approach infrastructure modernization, ensuring they are prepared for future IT demands. The great atmosphere and the people I get to work with every day make the job that much more enjoyable.
