What is your favorite part of working for QTS?
The people and the friendships I have made in my time here. I also enjoy that my role involves working with people from many departments and functions.
Tell us about the QTS sustainability programs and the impact they have.
We strive to be good members of the communities that we are in, good stewards of the company, and of the environment. Our programs seek to do good in the world by helping to highlight what we can change as a company and help to lessen any impact that our operations may have. Our sustainability programs represent the work of people across the organization, a synchronization of hard work in different groups that comes together to help drive positive change in the world.
What advice would you give to someone looking to make a difference in their community?
I would say, get out there, get involved. I love volunteering so I am constantly encouraging people to go volunteer in the community. Bring your team along! You will get to know the community better and build lasting bonds with your team.
What does a perfect day outside of the office look like for you?
Spending the day with my family, going to a park or on a walk on one of the numerous greenways in our community.
