My daily focus is ensuring the success of People Service’s programs including planning, technology resources, and communications.
What is your favorite part of working for QTS?
I appreciate that employees are encouraged to think outside the box, take risks, and pursue new ideas which fosters a dynamic and innovative work environment where everyone is empowered to make a difference. I also love the strong emphasis on giving back to the community, allowing QTS employees the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world around us.
Tell us about your time in the QTS Leadership Development Program (QLDP) program. What was one major highlight?
QLDP was an incredible experience. Through the program, I was able to connect with colleagues from different departments and locations, and learn more about their roles and how they contribute to QTS’s mission on a day-to-day basis. The program provided a unique platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing, and I am grateful for the relationships and insights I gained through my participation. While I enjoyed each rotation, I particularly appreciated the opportunity to shadow our COTS in multiple locations who indulged all my requests to tag along and patiently answered all my questions.
What passions do you have inside and outside of the office?
I’m passionate about using technology to its fullest potential; too often we have a tool in our hands that we know how to use for one purpose but fail to explore all the other possibilities it offers. I am also committed to supporting future women leaders both in the office via WIL (Women Inspiring Leadership) and out of the office via leading a local Girl Scout troop.
What does a perfect day outside of the office look like for you?
A perfect day would start with coffee and quiet, build up to something active with my kids like skiing, hiking, kayaking or biking, and end on my front porch reading and watching the birds with my husband.
